Hmm, I am not sure why, but the Sir Sarles quest is different for me than it used to be. I am sure it is a mod, but I don't know which one. Instead of me having to kill Neb for the Illithium, I now have to find Druegar's brother... in the ruined temple of a dead god. I check the Temple Ruins and the Ancient Temple in the sewers, but he is not in either place...

Does anyone know which mod does that, or what other temples I could look in?

It's in the Amuanator temple north of Umar Hills. There's a second shadow gate that never gets opened, I believe you find the brother there (instead of taking the bridge where the lava us, you pass it and go straight to the dead end).

You still do the Neb part, it just adds this little bit of interesting banter.

Unfinished Business. He should be in the temple ruins.

That part of UB is very bugged. Even after his location in the Temples was supposedly changed (to be near the door that can't be opened), I've never found him.

That's interesting. I've never had a problem with that particular quest in unfinished business. I've had problems with several others though. Surely someone can help the OP with a CLUA (or whatever it is called) console command to spawn the brother?-- assuming he's not where he should be after a double check.

Thanks for the help, I will try it out once I get back on that computer (it's at my dad's house). I will also look in the UB files to find his code and do some tests if just spawning him doesn't work.

I've never had any problems with finding the brother, not like those damned unkillable trolls in the Kidnapped Boo quest.

I found the unkillable trolls fine :p - and unfinding them just involved careful use of invisibility 10" radius.

Yes, Unfinished Business. I found him in the Temple Ruins from the Umar Hills quest, past the lava room, but before the Indiana Jones room. He's a little difficult to see as he is standing right at a wall and his color scheme blends in well.

Would he show up during, before, or after the Shade Lord quest? I received the info about him before I did the quest, couldn't see him during it (I assume he shows up in the new map), and haven't been able to check back since then.

Those trolls on the Boo quest required a haste, and a leg it to the area exit for me.

The Sarles quest I just jacked in because I could never find the brother.

UB is very buggy it seems.
