Is there a mod or a way to keep loot into BG2 from BG1? IE: I'd prefer if there was a mod that just move your gear around in the dungeon. I've heard of it, just no one ever posted a link or a name. I've also seen mention of a pause trick? Curious how that works as well. Also, is the only way to go between the two sagas to import your main char (ie: losing the gear from the rest of your party? - besides using BGT, I chose to use tutu)?

I've only recently gotten into BG1, so I'm not sure of the answers to this.

Pause during the black screen, before you hear the initial scream and you can press 'I' to enter your iventory. If you then drop all items on the floor you can pick 'em up after speaking to Imoen.

I wish all the BG NPC's were in BG2 as fully joinable party members, and you could move your whole party+gear across just like SoA - ToB.

My character save didn't seem to keep any of his loot between the copy and paste from tutu to bg2. Is there a known issue there?

It's also not picking up any saved game files or character files from the BG1 folder.

Yes, if you import from Tutu you won't be able to keep your gear.

There is also a WeiDU component of "Keep all items on Import" in my Trilogy of Crap tweakpack at TeamBG.
