I remember seeing a list of spell counters and resistances. Does anyone here know where it is? If not, I am mainly looking for something that will protect against cloudkill.

There's one, possibly two, items that will specifically protect against cloudkill and a couple of other spells. Don't remember what they are off the top of my head. Other than that, a "zone of sweet air" or whatever the druid/cleric spell is will knock out the cloud. I'm actually looking for something to protect one character from cloudkill while I cast it near him. Nivek The Mad Mon, 24th Jun '02, 6:55pm I would buff up that character's poison resistance - use the Periapt of Proof Against poison, a potion to raise constitution, a ring of regeneration, etc. Someone tell me, would a pro-actively cast Slow Poison spell help here, as well? Sol'Kanar Wed, 3rd Jul '02, 6:15am Uhh... cloudkill doesn't technically *poison* the character, so spells and abilities dealing with poison are rather useless. I do recall there being a spell in TDD that protects from things like cloudkill, but other than that I think magic resistance is the only way to protect an individual. IIRC Cloudkill does Poison damage, so havint the Ring of Gaxx or something that protects against poison will protect from that as well. Best protection: don't go into cloudkills. Earl Grey Thu, 4th Jul '02, 2:47am I made such a table a long time ago, but I can't find it now. here is a short new one: * Counterspells vs spell protections * Spell Thrust vs. Minor Spell Deflection, Minor Spell Turning, Minor Globe, Spell Immunity Pierce Magic vs same as Spell Thrust and also vs Spell Deflection Secret Word vs. same as Pierce Magic and also vs Spell Turning Khelben's Warding Whip vs. same as Secret Word and also vs Globe of Invulnerability Ruby Ray of Reversal, Pierce Shield and Spellstrike vs. same as Khelben's Warding Whip and also vs Spell Trap * Counterspell vs combat protections * Breach vs. Shield, Protection Circle (what is that?), Resist Fear, Prot from Fire/Cold, Fireshield, Prot from Acid, Prot from Electricity, Prot from Magic Energy, Prot from the Elements, Protection from Energy... Used taht plenty of times on the Golems in Nalia's Keep Miss-read the post this was refering too..
