I think we could make it an option. I don't think that would take too much extra time.

Any other concerns with this? It's important that everything be accounted for. You guys that run PWs are the experts.

Disappointed and angry I uninstalled

It played a bit choppy on my computer, but I only have 1GB of RAM (thats why I am getting the laptop).

It really is a good game- at first I really liked NWN better, but I really liked a lot of the features better. Just go to the behavior tab in the character sheets, and you should be able to fix that- it happens once in awhile to me too
You will want to be careful about getting a laptop to play NWN2 on. Generally, we don't suggest it. Most laptop video cards do not meet the requirements and, unfortunately, you cannot change them out.

Just a little comment: yes, laptop cards were weaker than their desktop counterparts the last time I read about it. They have less power and support fewer hardware acceleration functions. However, people have had laptops able to play NWN2 perfectly - e.g. our Chief Coder Catbert had a Core 2 Duo laptop that played it well. Generally, you want the counterpart of a normal graphics card and not some GeForce 7400, Radeon 2400 or a similar card - although with a very fast processor and RAM chips perhaps even that could suffice to play NWN2 well. As a rule of thumb (i.e. my own estimate), if you want to play NWN2 on a laptop, you don't want less than GeForce 7600 GS, GeForce 8600 GS or Radeon 2600 pro/XT. You need 1 GB of RAM for any fluent play, although 512 MB should perhaps suffice if you're patient.
