Since the ruleset changed to 3rd edition between the games, they decided to forget that idea. And seriously, starting the game with a level 40 character? dalkiel Tue, 22nd Jan '08, 7:25am yeah it was worth a shot..heh. I did spend a lot of time developing him. Oh well... Thanks for the reply Urithrand Sat, 2nd Feb '08, 9:54am You can still get a good comparison character if you liked the one you had in BG. The rulesets are very different, but I managed to mimic my BGII swashbuckler rather well with a rogue/shadowdancer and thoroughly enjoyed watching the way he could develop with the new rules. Besides, stagnating on the same old high level character gets boring after a while. kylan271 Tue, 13th May '08, 12:24pm You can't. I did not consider at the time the level ups, just wanted to retain my character for other games as was hinted. I did not like TOB(+6 weapons and many encounters with +3 this and that, eroded the game appeal for me) that much,so I hoped NWN would be better to continue with? But,alas no more. Thanks anyway for letting me also know. |
