Finally, it happened. On monday 21st, at 13:06 my wife gave birth to a beautiful little baby girl. Regrettably, I have no pictures yet as my wife has the camera, but I'll upload some pictures when she gets home from the hospital.

She's a pretty happy girl, and thankfully everything is alright with her, so they should be home soon. :)

I'm on my way to visit them right now, so I'll see you all later. :)

Thanks, everyone. :P

Now I'll probably be kept up all night. (As opposed to just being up all night. ;) )

Fantastic stuff. Now you get to find out how much of your precious life you used to waste on pointless sleeping!

Luckily, she seems to be a amazingly well-mannered little baby. She's pretty much happy all the time. :P

And lying on the couch, playing PS3, is much more fun when you have a baby sleeping on your stomach. ;)

As the father of a 5-month old, I have some good news and some bad news.

The good news is that at 5 months old, they sleep much further through the night. My son now typically can go a good 6-7 hours at a stretch without waking up. Then when he wakes up around 5 am, he nurses and goes back to sleep for another three hours.

The bad news is that at 5 months, you won't have her sleeping on your stomach playing PS3, because at 5-months, babies can roll over - even in their sleep!

I'll have to enjoy it while it lasts, then. :)

Although the whole sleeping longer bit does make up for it a little. ;)

Anyways, here's some pictures!

She's very cute, Jesper. There's nothing quite like a new baby. :)

Yes, she is. I may be a little biased, though. ;)
