I am thinking of starting a multiplayer game with 3 characters and fill the gaps with 3 NPCs
I am going to do this purely to test out some new kits/classes.
The 3 PCs are gonna be:
Protagonist: Kensai/Mage (I have heard a load about these, i will try one)
PC: Sorcerer(Sorceress) (sound interesting)
PC: Archer OR monk
What would this perform like in a good party, (I am thinking of aerie, minsc and someone else for npc value)

Well it would obviously kick the games ass. But anyway, I'd take Jahiera for the extra fighting power she can bring as well as being able to cast up to level 6 druid spells. There aren't any great weeapons for her to use(unless you find Water's Edge scmitar, I didn't), but she makes a very good backup fighter with Belm +2 and a good shield. Just for the record, a Kensai Mage and a Monk will probably be way too powerfull. I'd gp with the archer or another class(maybe create a fighter D totemic druid, cavalier, wizard slayer, or fighter/assasin). Just personal opinions though :)

Normally I play the game with the party all good alignments or all evil alignments. I dont have a party with good and evil members in it. If the Protagonist and 3 PC members are Good, then I take Good NPC's in the party. I don't like neutral NPC's because they are never happy. If your rep is too high or too low they start moaning.

Why does everybody use Belt +2 for Jaheira, The club +3, +3 acid damage is much better, isn't it??

Sorry, I've just never been able to bring myself to use clubs. Ooh, lets bash that in the head with this stick ;) Anyway, I don't really know. What are it's base damage and speed factors. Those are important, possibly more so than the +3 acid damage.
Well, when an NPC starts getting on my nerves(with an evil party), we all give him a good thrashing, then of course give him a regeneration ring afterward(so we can do it again of course). Such is the fun of being evil.

I give Jaheira that Quarterstaff +4 you can get in the Adventurer's Mart. With the Girdle of Ogre Strength she now (level 10-12) has a nice THACO of 4. Too bad she only has 1 attack per round. Anyway, véry nice to get rid of those nasty Clay Golems :)
