I recently picked my Warlock savegame up again. He's in the shadow theatre, in the portal room. I got the golem core and tried to combine it with a brilliant spirit essence with the Mold Spirit abilitiy . The game just tells me that I have the wrong recipe, no matter if I use the workbench or the satchel.

Also, when I try to rest, I cannot choose any of the two possibilities presented in the pop-up window.

I have the latest patch installed, although I got the crafting problems before I downloaded it.

Any suggestions?

well i think they've been messing with recipes in the recent patch, so it's possible you'll have to start anew

regardless, make sure you don't run any outdated mods (override folder has to be empty)

although it might also be possible to summon that item via the console, but i hope others will be able to help you with this, as i hardly ever use it

€: also, the enchanter satchel needs to be on your PC, and double check you use the right components; also, i don't think you actually need to repair the core to progress, as you can use some spirit power on the golem to summon it but it's annoying

Well, I have the Complete Craftsman mod installed. I'll delete it and try again.


EDIT: Okay, that solved the crafting problem. I still can't rest, though.

you must have your main character selected for resting

PS: resting bugs are commonly associated with bad or outdated GUI mods

Yeah, I know. Fixed that. Everything works fine now.

I hate it that I have to update the mods everytime I update NWN 2.
