Hello!

I'll take advantage of this topic. My problem is quite simple.
I'm recently playing Icewind Dale, and I figured it will be great to customize my character with some soundsets taken from Baldur's Gate II. But I'm thinking about samples from dialogues with, for instance, Bodhi or Irenicus, which I can compile into whole new soundset. Something exactly like Khazraj work (here (http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/IWD2/index_soundsets2.php)). Does anyone know programs or tools to cut dialogues from the game (I already tried Infinity Sound Converter and it doesn't work at all)? And in what BG and IwD files these sounds are stored?
Hope this is understandable ;)

Cheers!

Someone had a similar question in Apr 2007, thread can be found here:

Compared to what's written in the topic linked above, a few changes are required I suppose. For example, it might not be required to convert the files to wav, as IWD also uses/accepts ACM, if I remember correctly (I've no experience with IWD modding).

If a moderator reads this: you can move that thread to here, I think it belongs to this forum.
