Hello dudes and dudettes :cool:

I am trying to solo the game with a ranger who's gonna dual to cleric later, currently she's at level 9 or something now and im at the part where im supposed to kill of all those pesky vampires in the crypts(You know past those spiders to the mage/golem and all) and i am getting slaughtered :o I was like "wow, that first vampire wasnt so hard so i wasnt to alarmed when i saw another rushing at me with his little ghoul. I tossed up the holy might spell and started whacking the vampire while all of a sudden i died. Turns out that pesky vampire casts Death or something on me and it seems I can't save against it :o
I've tried several times now and i same thing every time, i rush in to try to kill the vampire as fast as possible, he starts casting some weird spell and i die.
Any tips would be appreciated:rolleyes:

Does he level drain you? If you're level drained below level 1, you die.

Are we talking about a vampire mage casting some form of death magic or a standard vampire level draining you. If it is the latter, check your character record to see if you are starting the fight with the second vampire while already drained.

Scrolls of Protection against Undead make the entire fight much easier. You may also wish to wait until you are at a higher level before attempting the area if you still have trouble.
