Well, Whilst surfing the internet i discovered someone attempting to re-create the infinity engine in flash. I believe if enough attention to detail is done this engine could actually work and function similar to the orginal engine.

It already is in development, with animations and some other stuff. The engine is being updated all the time. Currently there working on the fighting system. They need idea's and support and if they should continue the development.

They also plan to add multiplayer support [100+ Users] On every server and like exploring and fighting currently they are developing using BG2 images but intend to move onto there images.

Why Flash? It seems like a horrible choice of platform/language.

Plus there's already a project to implement the Infinity Engine called GemRB that's far along in development (though IIRC it has a restrictive 'free' license, which is kinda lame).

Anyway, I'll believe that this is going to be finished when I play something with it.

I can't see it working well, if I'm honest. Would love to be proved wrong though.
