A friend of mine said that there was a mod on this page that allowed you to be cool races like Lich, Vampire, Half-Fiend and more. Is this true, because I can't find it.

And skip the part with the likelyness and the process etc would you :)

Firstly and foremost templates only work with main classes as fighters, rangers, sorcerers, mages, etc. and NOT with kits (a kit is already a sort of template), secondly some of them are available only to certain classes or certain alignments (see the file "Template descriptions.txt" for a full explanation of the available templates at this time).

A special ability with the name of the template you could add will be disponible when the requirements for it are met (see the file "Template descriptions.txt"). You could use a template only if you create a new character. This is a design choice for not to make an NPC having a template. Note: the ability/ies will be cancelled if the requirements are not more met at any time.

Dont understand. Do I choose the template just like any kit then apply it when I meet the requirements? Cause I cant create a mage at level 11

Its easy:

You play your Evil Mage, do some quests, get some items, kill some people.
BUT when you get to level 11, you will gain a new Innate Ability. Lich. But only if you have enough money (22000gp or something redicoulus), click on it and your money will be taken, and you will be a lich.

This is the same for any class-->template.
Though at different levels.

I'm pretty used to the PBG boards myself, but I gave you <strike>the honor to reply to my question</strike> some extra posts cause it's SPs site after all :)

Strike tagg doesn't work? It does at PBG forums. :flaming:

En...Do you see the little words at the left of where you make a new entry, that say "*HTML is OFF"? the strike that you were trying to do is HTML coding, and not allowed on SP:nono:

BTW< welcome to the boards ;)
