I've imported two fighters from BG, one male, one female - slightly different stats each time, but generally ass-whuppin'. Both times when it's asked if I want to apply a kit to them, the berserker option is greyed out. I can make them into a kensai or wizardslayer, so I don't understand why berserker isn't allowed. Any ideas? I'm an old vet, so I feel a bit of a prat for asking. :o

nb, no mods on BG (Tutu or anything else) although I mod BG2 (Ascension and usually NPC, dialogue or quest mods, but nothing that messes with kits, statistics, AI or anything else of a fundamental nature).

Isn't there an alignment requirement on berserker's that they not be lawful? If so, are they lawful?

Non-lawful alignments only for Beserkers.
Non-chaotic alignments only for Kensai.

So guessing alignment is the issue. Only other requirement is 9Str

Actually, 15Str, dual classing remember?

You need 15 in your primary stat in your first class, and 17 in your primary stat in your second class. For example, in order to switch from Fighter to Thief, you need 15 STR and 17 DEX.
