Did anyone else find those riddles easy to answer? The one where you clicked on a head and you got teleported to the Statue of Riddles. All twelve riddles were answered without taking any damage and perhaps these very riddles would have been a lot tougher if I couldn't read through a list of possible answers. It would have been really awesome if they added a type function where you typed in your answer, which would have made the riddles much harder in the end.

Placing the items in the statues I found harder, although I only got the Sundial and Sun Medallion mixed up.

Also, does the game get harder at all? My main character Grub has so far, handled everything in the Asylum up to the point where I had to get the face to let me through. I will continue my journey today after I go through the stairs in hopes that what lays before me, is much tougher than Goblins, Kobolds and a few Undead.

if your a half orc fighter still, no the game gets much easier, and you will become godlike, when i was a half orc berserker i was basically a god on my own, i could take just about anything alone. except magic like hold, then i found chaotic commands and nothing could stop me.

Hmmm Grub is a wise&intelligent barbarian then, a most unusual ability for a Half-Orc I must say... Your mentioning of typing puzzles reminded me of Might&Magic VI(a game I still think as one of the best). But believe me it makes puzzles hard; much harder than they must be.. Maybe the riddles statue asked shouldn't be as easy(afterall it is the statue of riddles, it has to have some really tough ones) but selecting from the list is fine...

well you forget their target audiance... if you make the questions to hard you will frustrate some people and they will not buy anything from the company anymore.

Though i think that when you increase game difficulty there sould be a way to make things like that harder

Yup IE, still using Grub my Half-Orc Barbarian. With his Flail of Ages +3 in one hand, a shield in another, not to mention a
-9 AC plus the ability to dual wield maces as well (for the Mace of Disruption) I guess I'll be wisking through this a lot faster than I thought.

The Asylum will not be any harder for you, but the Underdark will. That's why after I was done I thought it might be better to grab Imoen as soon as you came up with the money.

*** Possible Spoiler ***

You should be able to essentially bypass the Underdark and leave it for later by exiting through the Kuo-Toa Dungeon, and then come back later. You'd only have to fight a few Drow, Kuo-Toans and a Spore Colony or three. I haven't heard of anyone doing this, so I'm not positive you can, but I didn't see any reason you couldn't...

ive done it, did the hold, did chapter 3, did the asylum and the fish city pretty quick, with out the extra fighting but still getting everything i need. went to underdark and went strait up to the exit, got out, and now im doing all the quests i didnt do, though i did die a few times more than usual, normally i can go through all those places with out dieing, but i was level 11-12... so what can you expect, the hardest part was fighting that team of drow waiting for ya... (i did go up and sell that equipment to the dwarfs, so i could buy it back later) then i left with haste. it does make things harder. since normally im about level 13-16 when i get there.

Oh... About the riddles... I found them very enjoyable, but I attempted to come up with my answer before looking at the list of their answers, so that made it more challenging for me...

Ya know, under the 'game options' button, there is a little slider thingy labeled "game dificulty". Just grab it with the mouse and push it waaaaayy over to the right. That should go a long way toward relieving all those 'lack of challenge' issues! (probably won't affect riddle question/answers though) ;) :)
