Just curious about the partial note I found in the Temple Ruins. It says something like:

...clearing south of the area. (can't remember exact words but in essence) dumped his treasure in an outcropping of rock in a clearing surrounded by a copse of trees.

Does anyone know where or what this is? I only have half the note and never found another half. I scoured Sylvus's solution but couldn't find any references to this note. Just wondering if it's cool treasure or if it's even worth pulling my hair out over. I searched the whole area where the temple ruins are.. there's lots of outcroppings of rock and there's trees everywhere and so far nothin'! If anyone knows something, please help! Much appreciated.

This note has somehow "eluded" me in my game as I never got it, yet I keep reading references to it now and again.

I've learned that this is part of another quest for a Dryad, but don't know if it is "Ranger" activated for that particular classes stronghold. The Dryad will approach you and speak of Nobles cutting down trees in Umar Hills. Those Nobles can be found in the Temple Ruin area looking for this said treasure. All it is, is a necklace and getting it back to them rather than taking it for yourself will earn you more experience than you'd get for just taking it.

Once you get this quest, you'll be able to find the treasure hidden by the altar, otherwise don't go nuts over it. Once I get more info on this or find it myself with my second game, I'll update the solution.
