reading through Extremist's topic http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/Forum2/HTML/003088.html I noticed the Shadow Altar and I have been wondering. Does it actually do anything other than just being there, like making aura or attacking your party? I never noticed it doing nothing than just sitting there.

it simply summons shadows. that's all, nothing more.

Killing the shadow altar just makes life easier while you kill the shadow lord
