I know this is kind of ToB related, but I just want to know if a bard ever gets to cast 7th level mage spell on higher levels than 23 or if 6th level spell is the max for this class.

In other words, should I copy 7th and higher level spells in my bard's spell book or just use them as items? Keeping in mind that my mages already know those spells.

No, you should keep it as a scroll. 6th level spell are indead the max for bards.

Not even when removing XP Cap? This is sad!

Yepp!

I cried for a week when I found out.

I played with a Blade (bard from bg1) my first time trough las autumn and was planning to use him for the establishment of the new panteon (ToB).
It takes away a bit of the fun when you know that you will never get any more spell slots.

I guess they would be to powerful otherwise but it is still sad.

(never liked the DnD system for rpg, to static)

Damn! This kinda sux. Oh! well, at least I have Edwin by my side, his extra spells at each level will compensate for that sad, sad, sad rule.
