Hello
I have a problem, in the bridge disstrict i got in to the door that needs a gem (the place with the stronger lich, beholder, and vamp.), after a few tries i managed to win the fight, but now i can't get out, so how do i get out?

And a few more questions:
What do you place in the arms of the statue in the umar hills (shadow quest)?

What do you do with bodhi's hart?

Is there anything of value in the beholder 'place' in underdark worth fighting for?

Is there any use for shadow dragon armor, it seems useless?

Is there an 'evil' way to play the game (not to fight bhaal), but no spoil please?

tnx
sorry for bad spelling :(.

1- Pick up the eye from the corpse of the beholder in the room, and click on the pot at the far end of the room, then clcik on the machine on the west side of the room. This should transport you back to the bridge district.

2- You place the body of your lover which bodhi turned to a vampire and bodhi's heart in the the arms of the statue in the shadow temple to revive her/him.

3- There is a part of the equilizer (the blade i think), a few gems and cash and the elder orb eyestalk which you need for a quest in the drow city.

4- The shadow dragon is only useless if you get it in the latter stages of the game when there is better armour to get. In the early stages it is good.

5- I don't know about whether there is an 'evil' way to play the game

voila

The problem is there is no eye on the beholder *sigh*, is it *on* the beholder?

It should be on top of the Beholders corpse, although it may be hard to see as it blends in well.

If you can, try resting. That generally clears away the corpses, and you can then see clearly where all the dropped items.

Also, see if you have picked it up accididentaly. That sometimes happesn to me and a spend about an hour searching for this thing which i already have in my iventory.

Hopefully you didn't disentegrate anyone in the Shangalar area. There is great treasure to be found.

Nevertheless you should pick up 'all' items that you find on the corpses. Also there are to areas in the circular room. One is on the East side and the other is on the North side. Visit & Click on these areas. THEY will tell you what is needed. If you do things correctly you'll be teleported out as I have been the last 3 games of BGII.

Shadow Dragon armour useless??? I don't know how to respond to that statement... there is value in all of the treasure found with any Dragon in the game.

Of course there is a way to play the game EVIL. Simply choose an EVIL alignment and roleplay that choice. Follow the dialouges and quests that are EVIL in nature. I've played an EVIL party and the options and gameplay were great.

Shadow Dragon Armor is perfect for classes that can't wear plate mail... Thieves for instance.
I gave it to Imoen and she now has AC -3 with that armor alone. Beat that.

That armor was excellent for my Archer as well; I only temporarily traded it for Drow Full Plate +5 while in the Underdark... It is good for anyone who can't wear metal armor of any kind (apparently it's like leather)

Tnx for the help, i had to refight the fight (several times...) in order to get the eye.

And by the time i was 'in shape' to kill the dragon the armor seemed useless, and there are better armors of that class :)

btw, where do you get the 21 st. gridle? (forest gaient?)

Shadow armour is one of the best armours in the game. It has an AC of 1 and gives you 50% resistance to acid. It is best used for thiefs and not fighters.

Can Imoen cast with that armor on? Is there any armor in the game that allows a mage to cast in?

Not singleclass mages but Fighter/mages, Thief/mages, cleric/mages and bards can all cast in elven chain

i'm a barbarian and believe me the shadow dragon armor is the best armor i found so far for my class.as far sa i remember ther are no great magical splintmails or chainmails that could best my current armor.
(i know at least one but i didn't find it in the game ;))

Is it just me or has nobody heard of the "bladesinger chain +4" that lets you cast spells in it and use thief abilities. I gave it to Imoen (armed with bow of Gesen and the sword from the Entrance district).

FOOL PROOF DRAGON KILLING TECHNIQUE!

Cast the level 7 priest spell "Finger Of Death" on the offending Dragon. I killed the
Shadow and Black dragons with only one casting of that spell (no resistance). It really is a "fair" way to fight the dragons. Because it's just a spell and doesn't abuse the game (like cloud-kill through fog of war or hiding behind Sanctuaryised characters in the Original).

Then I'm afraid you were just REALLY luck. First of all, that it didn't breath on you, and second of all you got past their resistances. Normally it takes some Lower Resistances to get it going, and often they just make their save and take a small amount of damage, so some Malisons are in order. This takes too long to set up, and by then you could have hacked his/her ass to pieces. Thus on both occasions, you got really lucky...

Shadow dragon armour is in my eyes probably the best leather armour in the game. I used it on my fighter-thief. Itīs better than the leather armor you get as a reward in the Umar Hills and better than the shadow armour you get from MaeīVar. BTW, the latter one can be worn by kensai-thiefs, probably a bug :))

The elven chain +4 is quite nice, but when you find it, itīs almost to late to really enjoy it. So, for most time of the game, shadow armour is superb for thiefs, archers, stalkers and people like that.
