Does anyone know what Edwins amulet does? Sorry if this has already been discussed. I did a search and found something about almost doubling his spells?

I have never taken him with me through the game so I have not been able to check out the amulet.

Edwin's Amulet gives him an extra 1. level spell and an extra 2. level spell, IIRC :)

It gives bonus spells to ALL levels.

Is there a way to get it from him without cheating. If I kill him (he is evil after all) do I get the necklace?

Even if you could only Edwin can wear it because it's HIS birthright,Edwin's stats may not be good but surely they don't include his amulet.This amulet gives +2 or +3 bonus spells per level.

You cannot get his necklace. As well as Boo, Alora's lucky rabbit's foot (BG1), Nalia's ring,...
