and IMO you are right. Probably the worst kit in BG-2 - that's why they won't use it in IWD-2 too.

Looks useless, downtrodden, and the underdog. Which is why I am going to play one sometime :).

It doesn't sound too bad. The BM can specialize in Bows/Crossbows, and can use clubs for melee. It really seems a strange kit, but the Find Familiar spell is a plus. :)

You could use bows/crossbows/slings quarter staves and clubs. I think I might try it out one of these days, just for a challenge. Oh, you could also use those staff maces and staff spears, I think.

The class is pretty bad and it should have some more spells, perhaps that nature's beauty spell (level 7 druid, I don't know if I've got the name right) would be a good one for it at higher levels as well as summon fire and earth elementals and so on...It isn't however as bad as the jester, the enermies ge a friggin +4 bonus to their saves againt the confusing song, the normal bard song is better!

why dont you just try it out. it could be a good challange to some players. I found it all right.:aww:
