Hi All,

I'm wondering when the best time to start chapter 3 is? I think i read somewhere that once you start chap 3, chap 2 quests are no longer avail. Is this true? I suppose i could just try it. I think i've done most of the chap 2 quests. My party are all level 13+ and i've plenty of gold.

Should i start chap 3 or should i *completely* 'flush out' chap 2 first?

Far as I know, most of the quests in Ch. 2 are avalible in Ch. 3. I could be wrong though, but I dont think I am.

Level 13+ is good enough to leave ch. 2, so you should be alright.

BTW, Who do you have in your party?

My party consists of:
Fighter (Kensai) ME (good aligned)
Jaheira
Minsc
Korgan
Viconia
Yoshimo

As you can see, i have no mage. I would have Edwin but i like Minsc better. There don't seem to be enough NPC mages. I think Aerie is crap so i guess i'll just wait for Imeon.

DeBhaal Stasion isn't wrong. There are no quests lost from chapter two to three.

SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN TO DE'ARNISE CASTLE:
Be a little carefull with chapter three to four. Especially if you have "De'Arnise stronghold" running with your Kensai. There are some time related quest that might expire.

BTW; I agree with your party structure. No mages.. hehe. I love that. Show them what fighters and clerics/druids are worth :heh:

How can you play without mages? :confused:
I was forced to make my main character a mage after I discovered that there was only one true (18 INT is essential for mages) mage in the game and he was evil... :mad: (Actually is not only that. I love my Fairy Dragon)

I like mages

But I always start Chapter3 after I've completed every quest, everything

except of course, giving the money to the Shadow thieves or Bhodi, that would be just plain silly :)

I have 2 mages. I dont see how anyone can play without even 1. I have a INT 19 Gnome Illusionist and Eddy.BTW "flush out" chapter 2 before starting chapter 3. It is much more fun that way.
