I went to the woods and killed him. Returned to Goverment district and they gave me 500 bucks!! I loaded and came back and said that I want more for it. Bastard got angry and promised to kill me.

Isn't wizards supposed to be good?!
I tried taking Valygar to my team but stalker ****ing sucks.

Where the hell will I ever get 20 000 when I didn't even get the 10 000 from Firkraag quest to kill bloody orcs. Stupid Firkraag...

Heh, that was pretty dumb. You should have taken Valygar with you, or kept his corpse to allow entrance to the Planar Sphere (in the Slums). Now you miss quite a nice quest. And by the end of my game, Valygar was definetely one of my strongest members, since he's superb with Celesial Fury, and his armor grants him some nice protections.

About the gold, don't worry about it. I'm currently at day 22, and have already spend nearly 100,000 gp on armory and spells (and my playhouse :) I guess, and still I've got nearly 80,000gp with me. Cash really isn't an issue in BG2.

Hehe, good wizards my ass.
There isn't a single good aligned Cowled Wizard among those who exercise control over Amn & Athkatla. Anything that goes on in the city is based purely on a neutral alignment with tendency to evil.
Cowled Wizards do what they feel gains them the most profit. Good deeds aren't among them.

Yeah, I guess they're Lawful Neutral at best. Not that it matters, though, I'm on a Holy Crusade right now, no Cowled Wizard'll meet me and outlive that day for long. So far there're 13 scalps at my belt :)

Hey, lukki.

First option: Join the vampires - as far as i know, you don't need any money (this could be wrong as i haven't explored that option)

2nd option: Do Nalia's keep - you get 10,000 from that, and you you actually only need 15k, so the rest should be fairly easy to get

I got the money from stealing. I went to shadow thieves guild and stole everything and did a few jobs for them.
They don't even care if I take 50gp and a few gems from them.

I went to the planar sphere and I was doing nicely until I reached Tolgeris or something like that. He was the mage who wanted to kill me and he did. I had 4/6 people left alive after that fight and went to the other room and I had cast all of my spells and a stupid troll comes and doesn't die because it needs acid/fire for finishing.

Planar sphere is just a suicide to my party.
Perhaps sorcerer isn't too good.
What is?!

And why the hell doesn't Irenicus run out of spells?! And his spells are never interrupted. where can I get a mage like that?!?! #¤&%!!!

SPOILER, CHEAT, WHATEVER....

Ah, well, if its gold you are interested in, you might try this:

In escaping from Irenicus' dungeon, you should find a potion of master thievery. In addition you can buy 2 of them from Ribald Barteman, 2 from Roger the Fence, and 3 potions of perseption (sp.) which are the same as 1/2 a potion of master thievery. In total, assuming you have Yoshimo drink them all, you get a +260 to picking pockets. If you give Yoshimo all of the bonus from his first level increase, he has now a 305 pick-pockets.

Now, do this after you rescue Hendak from the Copper Coronet, steal all of the relatively expensive items from Bernard (Blade of the Roses, Azuredge, the high-level scrolls, Stonefire, etc...). Noone will buy these items EXCEPT Roger the Fence. Find him in the sewers in the temple district, then sell all of these expensive items.

Now here is the beauty/stupidity/cheat:

You can re-steal these items from Roger and sell them back! The combination of a 305 pick-pockets, Roger's REALLY bad memory, and seemingly infinite supply of gold, you can easily make TONS gold without worrying about being caught. Then I thought: why am I wasting my time doing this? I could just use Shadowkeeper to give me 500,000 gold. I promptly quit and sulked at my sad revelation, noting how broken the game had become for me.

I feel SO horrible for posting this, but after doing most of the quests, like Tal said, you wont have to worry about gold anyway.

So cheat if you wish, use it because its funny, whatever... just don't flame me.

Oh come on! Please let me flame you! Pretty please :) Anyway, maybe you should wait till you are at a higher level to attempt the sphere if you can't cut it yet. A sorcerer doesn't suck necesarily unless you give them poor spells. Anyway, you should have a party be now, so don't blame it solely on the sorcerer. I think it's just your level. If you can't get past him, lower the difficulty level. Also, why do you want a mage like Jon is in the cut scenes. Take the fun out of the game, wouldn't it. Besides, when you actually fight him, it's not like in the cut scenes.
