I Just started a new game, a human sorcerer. After G got out and went to Galen Bale and accepted his proposal, I used the console to check the JaheriaRomance variables..all of them. none of them exist..except the Checkmatch which is set to 1..has this happened to anyone before?

Exit Slums and then check the variables.

Her first romance dialog always happened(for me)in front of the Copper Coronet, after leaving Gaelan Bayles home.

When it comes to romances, Trust in Extremist.

Still nothing...i left the slums and went all the way to dearnis keep..and nothing none of the varibles exist except for the JaheraMatch

Zip that game and mail it. To me, of course. That sort of thing is not normal in SoA.

Romances aren't the be all and end all. I enjoyed the game more for the quests surrounding the romances, in particular for Jaheira and all the mad Harpers.

I must post this.

I've received that saved game and Jaheira's main script (not combat script) is changed into a script called TEMPLATE which doesn't exist in SoA.

He'll probably detect by what means that happened and will post it.

But this leads to another problem:
1. He won't have a romance with Jaheira
2. No harper quests despite the romance (including Xzar)
3. No Jaheira Curse quest (even if something from it happens, it will be totally screwed)

So, BrightBlade, if you manage to detect what turned Jaheira's main script into non-existing script called TEMPLATE, please do post it so noone gets this problem again.

Ok, I think ive finally found out what it is.
running the kelsy npc mod in SOA with no TOB. it might have also been a random fluke? i dont really know nothing of these things..but..I just did a clean install and im going to try to figure out what caused this once and for all. Though the kelsy thing was the most recent thing I did since this happening.

It might help if you took that ugly mask off your face. Or get some nice clothes. I think your real problem is that Jaihera is looking for men of more of a face than you have. Meet my Blade: John Travolta cha 21. Hehehe...

I havent pinpointed EXACTLY what the problem is. But a clean install seemed to fix it.

The only reason for romancing Jahera, as far as I can see, is to listen to her ***** when you drop her for Viccy...

This may sound dumb, but how do you check how the romance is going, just wonderin'. Peace.
