I think a visit to 'New Amn' would be nice, facing sea dragons, titans and other worthy almost godly opponents , I fully agree in all other things said before on this topic,

I hope our topic inspire the program writers

Oh yeah, the portraits in Icewind Dale and the sound sets were sooooo awesome.....
I was very dissapointed by the ones in BG2.

In addition to the statement about more male romance prospects, how about some that aren't priests. All four in BGII are priests, at least in part. Anybody know why they did that?

I would like to see some epic "major" battles! Like armies clashing, castle storming, and good map-changing carnage like that!

And anything with Minsc in it would be nice! He is easily my favorite character in the game!

Minsc definately needs quests. And i agree about introducing more female love interests, Anomen is the sort of person you want to club over the head lots.....
Although doing some proper plane travelling would be cool, some quests that go there would rock :D. A sort of Durlags Tower scale thing travelling through the Abyss or something. Maybe i just miss Planescape....

How about using your stronghold for something...

More of an NPC to NPC romantic kinda deal. Perhaps Edwin would start up a "thang" with Viconia, and since my character is already involved with her I could get in fights with him, and Viconia/Edwin would maybe side against me or whatever (maybe even more erotic things..i'm so kinky, heh).

I'm also for the epic battles deal. Like have a big war bust out between two cities or whatever, and you get to take sides and such (like with vampires/shadow thieves). I want a game where you can have the option to play a major part, like as a general or whatever (and you'd get the reputation, items, and duties suit for a general), or you could be an average soldier with better ability than the rest. Whatever floats your boat eh?

My last thing is more outlets for roleplaying, and a different story line in multi player (It'd be awesome to have a multi player game going, where you'd have like a guy and his party aligned with the shadow thieves, and another person with the vampires and see how there scenario's clash).

I agree with Shura, I too would like to see a
Monk or Kensai NPC. How about some fightin' women? The only female warriors were Jahira
and Mazzy, and Jahira is only part fighter.
How about a Monk villan? We've seen how awesome they are as PC's, imagine one as a major adversary!

1) More NPCs, more evil NPCs, more thief NPCs, more NPC quests (Minsc!), more NPC interaction. In short: More NPC stuff.
2) Flesh out the selection of some weapons types (scimitars, wakizashis, morning stars(?))
3) Better monster AI. Well, one can always hope.
4) More locations. I find myself almost missing the endless trudging around in Nowhereland of BG I.

I liked exploring the locations in BG1, too, and I'd like it if they put some of that in the expansion, like exploring some wierd ruins, like Durlag's Tower.

I'd like to see some things related to spells and spell casting:

1. A casting progress indicator of some kind. Perhaps a thin vertical bar along one side of the character photo. Maybe I'm the only one who has this problem, but it seems that during a real furball battle, I set my mage/cleric to casting a spell, then get my fighters to bashing & hacking. After a seemingly long time, I go back to my mage to cast the next spell. Well, when I start checking all the battle messages, it looks like my first spell just didn't get started, and since the casting time is quite long, I disrupted it myself by going to the next one. A real bummer! A progress indicator would let you know if he's still working on his casting, or whether it's already been disrupted.

2. I'd like to see my mage have the ability to write their own scrolls. (All those existing scrolls have to come from somewhere.) Perhaps a special ability like other classes have. It could start at a certain level and increase at certain points.

3. Similar to #2, I'd like the ability to recharge rods and wands. Another special ability. Or perhaps a special recharging station that a mage could buy/earn and then use as needed.

:) :)

You can set the game to autopause every time someone in your party casts a spell. Very handy, I must say.
