where can I find a good toolset for bg2? and does anybody have some good info on bg2 modmaking, and I mean better than most of the stuff I've been finding, more in depth. right now I'm confined to AI sub-classes and weapons, and not even much in the sub-class range I need to know how to make a completely new class with it's own attributes, not that of the class it's subclassed under.

There is none, but you can try out new pre made classes at the Sorcerer's net Baldur's Gate 2 Cheats, hacks and editor's site.

O the main page choose Games, Baldrus' Gate 2 and then indeed the hacks, tricks, tools... whatever.

*whispers so that Shadow Assassin can't hear him* Isn't that one of the people that Extremist is paronoid about (read the "do any of you know if the developers of BG2 are reading this forum" topic)? A supposeble newbie asking for tech stuff? :D

No. This is not one of them. He has profile info for start. And he suggests usage of IEEE to modify the game - not that other lame util.

So, let me answer his question with a fancy link (try also links from there...):

There is also here: http://icmnet.virtualave.net/ if you are wanting to make extra areas, or alter existing areas and the like.

I think I'll stick to Infinity Wildfire, not that your link is bad, but teambg is much more proven, however I still need some good tutorials, not the usual lame crap, I'm talking in depth hereany really profficient mod-makers could probably help, I'm a decent mod-maker but by no means any where near what I could be with proper instruction.
