I got the hammer and it says it needs a belt of giant strength and bracers of ogre power. where are the bracers and is a girdle of frost giant strength O.K.?
Thanks.

For those who don't want to know, there are spoilers ahead!

Belt is in the Kuo-toa lair in the Underdark. You need to kill a demon knight after making an animal sacrifice. It's in a weird room passed a bridge with a Flame Strike trap. Prepare for a big, nasty fight.

Gauntlets are in the Planar sphere in the Slums. You need Valygar (dead or alive) to open the door. They are on a named halfling mage on the first level.

Oh, and you didn't ask, but I don't think anything ever says about it except for Cromwell. You need the scroll of Crom Faeyr and you get that off the Black dragon in the Temple Ruins through the Umar Hills quest.

It's an excellent off-hand weapon for any dual wielding death dealer. It grants a 25 strength (+7 to hit, +14 damage).

I can tell you how to keep the girdle of frost giant strength if you like it.

~~~~Spoiler~~~
There is a little hiccup in the game that you will sometimes keep items that are part of the process of making items with Cromwell if they are in the bag of holding.
simply put every item for the CromFaeyr into the bag and make sure that the Girdle is the last one in the bag. You then stand a chance of getting both the Girdle and CromFaeyr. It works for me at least.
Oh I did not know that! Gotta try it!
And BTW love the Crom Faeyr, it turns feeble clerics like Viccy into a killing machine!
yes Crom Faeyr'd Viccy is a bit of a slaughterhouse in action. Specially if you give her sword and Shield style and one of the powerful shields.
That's exactly what I always do. Viconia is pretty good with the hammer
