I got Korgan's quest to find the Book in the Cemetary BUT apon reaching Pelinco's House in the Temple District, Korgan says that "we're too late" and the house is fully looted. Is there anything I can do or did I simply take too long in getting here? Any help would be appreciated, at least an answer to the question, or be pointed in the right direction.

I do not think you can get there faster, did you go inside anyway and look around? Korgan tells you where to go for the next part of the quest, but I do not remember if it is triggered by anything, I think it might be triggered by you finding something in the house. If that is not so, look below.

Go to the roof area of the coper coronet, the people you need to find are up there, kill them and get the book and the quest is done, since the guy you are supposed to give it to is dead.

i dont know if there is a time limit, i finished the quest not long after i let Korgan join me.


once you get to the Pelinco Estate go inside and enter the bedroom with Korgan. here you will see some dead bodies. they must be the trigger because Korgan will tell you to go to the roof of the Copper Coronet after he makes a comment about the dead bodies.
