How do you get the Mage strong hold as a fighter dual classed to a Mage??? I really want to get my hands on the staff and some of the other nice stuff they make in there?

Same as any other mage. Talk to Torgeleis in the Goverment Building to start the quest. If you already have the fighter stronghold you can't get it, but I'm pretty sure if you get the Planar Sphere first then take the keep, you can get both.

You can get both strongholds? Hmm. Does that apply to other dual/multi class? Or is it just a bug with the keep?

It is a bug with deArnise hold that can be exploited by any dual/multi class that is combo with fighter.
Hero who is not a fighter can't get it as stronghold.

to get both strongholds you have to do the fighter stronghold first and after liberating it tell natila that you dont think its the right time for you to take the keep(or something like that)and then do the mage stronghold quest say yes to lavok and then return to natila and say yes to accepting the keep.(sorry if my spelling is a little off, hope this helps)
