What are the best choices for warhammers in the game? With all of the undead they are very handy.

The best Warhammer is Crom Faeyr. If you don't have the Crom Faeyr, the Hammer of Thunderbolts +3 is also a great hammer (Part of Crom Faeyr).

I don't see why they are handy against Undead. They don't have Immunity to Level Drain. Don't you mean Maces? A mace with Immunity to Level Drain is the Mace of Disruption +2.

Hmm, well, actually, the Mace of Disruption is like only +1 when you first get it. In order for it to be +2, you have to take it to Cromwell with the real illithium, not the substitute, from the Sir Sarles quest in the Temple District.

Blunt weapons are a good choice against skeletons and Skeleton Warriors; both have a significant resistance (60-65%, IIRC) to piercing and slashing weapons.

But the Mace of Disruption and the Stonefire are the best choices against undead. Of course, there's always False Dawn and Sunray. Not to mention turning undead. :good: :holy:

Flail of Ages is also very handy. It slows the skeleton warriors, which decreases the number of attacks and hence the amount of damage they could do.

supposedly you are able to throw hammers if you take the proficiency, but I have only found one hammer that lets you do that. Its in trademeet.

The Dwarven Thrower +3 (found in Trademeet markets), is a Hammer capable of being thrown. Sadly, only Dwarves can use it, although I don't believe a proficiency is needed.
