I would probably be a monk ;). Thinking that they are overpowered and all. I would also use a big and get Keldorn's Armour ;)

Oh and the Robe of Vecna - Bonus Merchants, the one in Ribald's Store.

I would be as I said number of times: fighter/mage/thief. Items? Whatever Mystra sends me - I'll always beat you all up just with that. Or without that. :p :cool:

I would have to be a random Dwarven commoner - the kind that can't say anything other than "by moradin's hammer", "I need a swig o' some strong dwarven ale" and "me temper's bad enough wi'out ye botherin' me". Maybe Cromwell's missing apprentice. hmmm could be a quest in there...

I would be a human Cavalier with Calastial Fury so when stun efect a Demon I split on him.

We've answered this question many times but its such a cool question so thats cool. I would probably be a Priest somewhere in the Temple district. Probably just walking around and shopping for books and carrying a cool Mace or Flail.

A fat merchant; living in luxury in a grand estate in the Goverment district paid for by buying valuable items from stupid adventurers for a pittance and then selling them with a 1000% markup.

a mage no doubt, mind over matter fits me like a charm :)

I'd be a Mage/thief with high level hide in shadows, invisibility, and polymorph, along with those charm spells, just think of the possibilities.

I know I am twisting the topic a bit, But If I should choose which character from BG2 i would be, I would go for Minsc. Not too much to think of and I like the forrest life. plus it is obvious that his tatoo attracts women.

A plain answer would be a Elven ranger in leather armor, with a club or staff of some kind nothing fancy, just keeping a little village safe I like the idea of a long healthy life. Perhaps settle down in Umar :)

Weapons: Dual Weild Katana & War Hammer (you can guess which ones I'd pick from BG2 :D) (I think a dc f/c can still use edged weapons)

Nope - can't use Katana anymore (you'd think they would say something about that in the rules. . . )

So, I guess I would wield Crom Fayr & the Flail of Ages.

If you let me jump into a 3rd Edition World, I would be a Gray Elf Paladin/Cleric weilding a holy avenger sword.

I'd be an elven mage. I could enjoy living for a few centuries. And how could I not want to actually cast spells? (No way I'd be sorcerer...it's hard enough to choose their spells as is: "Damn...maybe Aganazzar's Scorcher isn't as practical a spell in my day-to-day life as I initially thought.")

Question : At the beginning you said ring of wizardry, for a sorceer, I don't think that gives you extra spells, but I could be mistaken. Can someone tell me if I am right or wrong?

I would definately have Elven Armor(so i can cast my deadly spells), longbow +3, Sword of Roses, and Boots of speed.

I would be a half-elf jester, with the wacky jester's armour, so I can take over the theatre and finally become a star...... :)

I would be Moadíb, the powerful human sorcerer. Don't care about the proficencies; he would be a master of summoning, necromancy and misleading, not to mention his powerful evocation spells. If I were him, I would be a real force upon Faerún.

On this board I would definitely be a halfling cavalier wielding a flaming holy avenger longsword +5, +12 vs. spamming idiots (who suffer a -10 penalty on their savingthrows vs. the weapon effects silence/ deafness/ ray of enfeeblement)

Considering my gamestyle I'd be a halfelven fighter-mage-thief or halfling fighter-thief - both with good lore & stealth - wearing elven chain and using a dagger+4, longsword +3 and a shortbow +3.

I would be my old P&P character, Toke. Toke was a mage (a New Mage actually, but that ain't in BG2) with a bit of a reefer problem. He created a spell requiring pot as a component just so he could "conjure spell component" and get some any time he wanted.

He tried to get a whole village to light up with him (they thought he was a god 'cause he flew into town instead of walking), but the do-gooder fighter by his side wouldn't let him.

(No, I'm not a pot-head. Just thought the character would be funny.)

i would be a powerful war mage with just a mage staff and a trusty dagger (wizards last defence of course). i would hire out to the highest bidder and kick the other sides asses!

I would be the Kensai man! If anyone gives me sass, Id put my katana between their legs and ask if they like kids. Im fond of the swashbuckler too, basically anyone who uses swords with "style".

I would definetly have to be a sorcerer too man. Probly elven with the robe of vecna and staff of magi. ring of protection, ring of ram, girdle of hill giant strenth, boots of gargoyle (ToB only?) and thats about it

I would probably be a gnome cleric/illusionist, neutral good. Not the mightiest character in the realms and no desire to be, but a good source of help in times of trouble. Getting me back down to earth might be a problem though, as I'd probably be the typical absent-minded wizard.

I would be a bard (no kit), wearing the Melodic chain mail +3 and my weapon would be the Dak'kon's Zerth Blade (katana +2) for the extra 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th level mage spell as well as the +1 AC bonus. I would have 2 harps ready for use, the Discord and Pendemonium ones along with the Horn of Silence. My familiar would be a cat, because I'm a chaotic neutral kind of person and I would have to wear the boots of Speed to try and catch him when he's chasing after rats, rabbits, kobolds and the occasional griffin, alongside Jan, of course!

id just have to go with drizzt he RULZ!
