Pleaze can someone tell me how to get the Planar sphere because it just doesnt seem to let me! I am a sorcerer at the moment. :help:

You need Valygar (SP?) in your party to do that.

Or you can use valygar's body to open it. You get this if you kill Valygar.

I check everything out. In the guides etc. and found that it should of happened by now. It could be a bug. How far have you got with the story?

If you really dont know any other way to go in, then activate cheats and press ctrl+space
and type:
CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR0411")

This should teleport you there. And if you can't go out type:
CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR0400")

I however wouldn't do that, because it makes me feel bad if i use cheats.

If you have Valygar in your party, just approach the stairs that lead to the sphere and it will be unlocked when he speaks.

If you have his body in the inventory, just touch the Sphere door and it will open itself.

It CANNOT be a bug so DON'T use Console area transportation! :mad::mad:

Extremist did you ever think you know a wee bit to much about this game?Maybe you should go help Bioware with IWD2.

BioWare has nothing to do with IWD2. Or IWD1 for that matter. They were both made by Black Isle.

silly me i seem to be getting my companys mixed up(its from playing PoR it kills braincells) but I do mean what i said about Extremist he knows to much lol

and I would never say otherwise but ummm I think weve gotten a little off the topic sooo the questions been answeared and problem has been fixed lets move on and lets let this topic fall deep into the archeives for someone else who needs help.

I have done every thing in the sphere up to getting out! after coming out nothing happens.:help:

What exactly are you expecting to happen?

How did you come out? Did you go see whatever the mage who built it was called, and carry his body outside etc? Or did you leave without going back to see him.....

If you completed it, AND you're a mage, then the stronghold quests will start in due course. Going back to see the Knights would perhaps help? Any other character: That's it. Experience gained, pick up the ring, and leave. Job done.

where is his his body i dont know where togo for that!

I think he is expecting it to become his stronghold, his problem is he has completed it as a sorceror and it has not becme his stronghold like it should.

is it where you first find him?

Did you return to Lavok after getting the Sphere back to where it should be? He asks you to take him outside to see the sun a final time or some such rubbish. He dies and the ring is on his body. (Ring of acuity +one 2nd,3rd,4th level spells).

Then you can go back in to speak to the knighs you meet in about the second room in. This I think is what triggers the stronghold quests,s so if they're dead, I think you're knackered.
