Where can i get some? i got aerie with the elven armour +1
Nalia with good archmage robes or what ever.
Now i want one for Imoen, so where can some be found? do i gotta fight for it?
Or is it bought some where?

My mage where The robe of Vecna, one of my favorite items, its way better than Robe of the Archmagica.. But u need one of the bonus CDs to get it, but somewere on this bord is the adress were u can download boath of them...

Are there really robes of the archmagi in BG2? I went through the game the first time with at sorcerer and had nothing better than a traveler's robe. (I didn't get the Collector's Edition cd until after I beat it. I do have to agree that the Robe of Vecna is the best robe I've seen in BG2.) Anyway, If there are robes of the archmagi that are available without cheating, where?

You can buy an archmagi's robe from the smith north of Trademeet after you solve the town's problems with the druids and a rakshasa. IIRC, it's only for the good-aligned.

I found the armour on the leader of one of the families at war in Trademeet to be elven armour.
To get it accept the male family head's quest to get the mantle then return to him.
Once you do this all hell breaks loose and you have to fight about 8 guards and 2 heads of the family (mages).
But its worth it as one has elven armour.
If you complete the quest properly by taking the mantle to the Mayor you get experience, 250 gold and your reputation increases by 1.
I'd rather have the armour.

I went for the reputation :) seemed like the proper thing to do. 19 repuation and climbing!

i also gave the mantle to the chap who asked for it and not to the familys.
is it possible to pickpocket the lven robe or kill for it with no rep loss id really like this piece of kit.....

Hey, evil wizards out there! I was at the drow city in the Underdark and one of the merchants in the bazaar sells a robe for evil archmagi. Anyone come across robe for neutral archmagi?
