The best class in Baldurs gate 2 would have to be the helf-elf Cleric/Ranger. This great fighter does not only have good hit and THACO numbers, but ability stats to boot! The best thing is that this class gets both cleric and druid spells!! ->(e.g. Call wood. beings)

If you would scroll down a little bit more you'd find a topic almost exactly the same:

Hey Cog Primius. That is what is called a TOB Spoile and you are not allowed to post it on the SoA board. Under any circumstances. Seems that you should go read the link that Archer14 posted.

If your willing to get experince it's F/M/T.They have everything you need for solo. But getting the experince is a bugger.

Assassin/Mage :D. But f/m/t's are also very good, only thing I dislike is that they are crummy spell casters.

There is no BEST class, maybe a best class for you but no class is superior.

I've solo'd a wizard slayer, a barbarian, a fighter/cleric and a fighter/mage untill now I noticed the barbarian was probably the hardest.

If you are going to play solo I'd advise choosing a race with immunities to charm or magic or something like that, because those are most annoying IMO

As said above, IMHO that is no best class. But the most powerful class would probably be the monk.

BTW Archer, I don't see why you suggested that he hadn't read the faq. His post was perfectly coherent, and on a sensible topic (At least, more so than posts made by others...)
