Hello everyone! I'm having a problem defeating Tolgerias and the other mage in the planar sphere. I'm soloing a F/M/T and I have Valygar too. Every time I go in, he casts a horrid wilting and follows up with a power word kill which usually kills my main character before he can do much. Also, the other mage keeps summoning tons of creatures. When I cast breach on them they just pop up more protections. Also, I don't think breach gets rid of stoneskin which they have, and by the time I get past the stoneskin I'm dead. And no I didn't steal the ring of ram from him in the government center.

Welcome to the boards.
I'm going to leave Valygar out of this since you said you are soloing. Although I haven't soloed a F/M/T, I have been through this fight a few times so here are some suggestions. You're about to enter a room that you know could hold potential enemies, therefore one could reason it's not extremely "cheesy" to summon some back-up. So do so. Then proceed in entering. Send the fastest creature(s) toward the helper mage. Send the slowest and weakest to Tolgerias, preferably as far away from the helper mage and your other summons.
You go attack the helper mage, breach if you have too. His defenses fall much easier than Tolgerias' defenses. By this time Tolgerias will have killed your pathetic summons. Immeadiately summon something else in his proximity, preferably something quick (i.e. Horn of Vhalla(sp) or the spider figurine) at this time your summons and you should be finishing off the helper mage. Focus all attacks on him and not what he summons.
Take one of your summons with you to go get Tolgerias and leave the rest to duke it out with any remaining enemy summons. Good luck and timing it right to kill him. But you really need to get his helper out of the way first IMHO. Note that the Flail of Ages cuts through the stoneskin through the extra damage it provides (the same with similar weapons) A potion of invisibility and backstab might come in handy as well.
May the Force Be With You ;)

Yes! Backstab! One backstab ended Tolgerias for me, and his little helper fell to a Horrid Wilting. Remember to hide in shadows BEFORE you enter the room. It will start to wear off, but you can still backstab him before his protections go up, as long as you do it quickly. Powerword: Stun also is great, as with it's casting time of 1, you can hit him with it before any defenses go up. Valygar can backstab too, so have him go for the apprentice, and you for Tolgerias.
