View Full Version : Illithium Ore Captain Spud Tue, 29th May '01, 8:56pm its a simple question, just wondering where i can get it. Extremist Tue, 29th May '01, 9:00pm Ore merchant (female, can't remember the name) dwells on the Waukeen Promenade during the day (northwest section). She'll sell you the fake ore or point you where to obtain the real ore. End of my note. Captain Spud Tue, 29th May '01, 9:03pm thank you my good sir (love these boards, worked quite well during the Quest for Glory series) shadow_thief Tue, 29th May '01, 9:35pm oh yeah...dont bother trying to find her before u get the quest. Spudsquisher Wed, 30th May '01, 12:10am spoiler * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * when i did that and he ran off after keldorn told him..i went back and killed her...should i have done? Captain Spud Wed, 30th May '01, 4:59am i am pro spoiler so if you can fill me in on the mace of disruption id be grateful. [This message has been edited by Captain Spud (edited May 30, 2001).] nevermind, i consulted a walkthrough and got the whole quest. [This message has been edited by Captain Spud (edited May 30, 2001).] Lord Praetor Munir Wed, 30th May '01, 8:50am the mace of disruption.. now thats a bit hard to obtain.. i mean if ur still busy getting the illithium.. you have to go into vampire base in the graveyard district and dish it out of a pool of blood... Headbanger Wed, 30th May '01, 11:07am ***SPOILER*** * * * * * * The female can give you Fake Illithium Ore. WHen you wanna get the real ore, she will redirect you to a guy in the Copper Coronet. The Mace of Disruption +1 is in the bath filled with blood in Bodhi's Guildhouse in the Graveyard District. Cromwell can upgrade it for you when you keep the real Ilithium to the Mace of Disruption +2, a very powerful weapon vs. undead. [This message has been edited by Headbanger (edited May 30, 2001).] Ladril Leafstar Wed, 30th May '01, 2:00pm The guy in the Copper Coronet is a dwarf, near the bar, he will direct you to his supplier in the derelict house in the Bridge District. This dude will drink an invisibility potion and cast some monsters. He scapers to a safe distance, kill the monsters and you see the words "hee hee" appearing on the screen, stand your party well back and fireball/cloudkill him and get revenge! Take the ore. This dude is a wanted man, take his head to the captain of the guards in the Government Building and he rewards you. Headbanger Wed, 30th May '01, 2:15pm Spoiler: And who is this guy???? It's our wel known friend Neb from Baldur's Gate. After killing him, bring his head to the Mayor in the Government District, 7 council building and you'll also receive a reputation increase and XP. Captain Spud Wed, 30th May '01, 11:26pm uh, leafstar...you get exp. for every child left standing after the fight. what i did was turn AI off and use keldorns true seeing ability then just killed the little guy. Extremist Wed, 30th May '01, 11:52pm True sight? I thought you just need a good thief (in my game that was me F/M/T) with good dispell illusion skill. Captain Spud Thu, 31st May '01, 10:31pm Extremist, can you tell me what signifigance the detect illusion ability has because i have never thought it had any. Nobleman Thu, 31st May '01, 10:37pm Mind If I answer this one? If You have Your Detect traps ability on. You'll Detect illusions as well. Every kind of Illusion has a difficulty level, that must be beaten by the thief's skills. I have found this pretty effective when my skill is above 100. I haven't found it usable against invisibility though. "True sight" covers invisibility too. Captain Spud Thu, 31st May '01, 10:40pm so...you can dispel stuff like mirror image and mislead? Nobleman Thu, 31st May '01, 11:13pm Sir! Yes sir! Even shadow door. (You are a captain and all. I was just the usual grunt in the army) Extremist Thu, 31st May '01, 11:44pm Hmm, do you remember start of the game in Circus Tent? There were some wolfweres - illusions. How do you think I nailed them? Nobleman Thu, 31st May '01, 11:52pm Yep! My F/M/T started with 100 in detect illusion. A gamble. But I proved usefull throughout the game. I think lots of people underestimate that ability. Or at least don't know about it. But it is truly  Extremist Fri, 1st Jun '01, 12:04am Nobleman if you are looking for someone to get into multiplayer party - count on me! Unless I'm under your specs :( *sniff* Geez, I always thought I'm loosing myself, and suddenly I found a person that agrees with me. At least on one thing. I must be blind. No. Lemme ditch these sun glasses. Now it's better. :) Nobleman Fri, 1st Jun '01, 12:15am haha.Mucho Mongo funny baby :D look You got me all green in the head. ;) Oh its wearing off. Anyone playing a F/M/T is smart  and intelligent. Is their **** together or is their **** together? I forgot. Quote George Clooney AKA Seth Gecko in From Dusk till Dawn I think We should cut down this junkposting Ex. We are supposed to be rolemodels. I went green again Does this look better  BTW: I am honered by Your gesture of Multiplaying Ex. [This message has been edited by Nobleman (edited June 01, 2001).] Captain Spud Fri, 1st Jun '01, 5:08pm alright, now i need help on one thing. i am playing through BGI as a thief and am planning on going assasin in the second game... i would appreciate if anyone can tell me how i should distribute the low pointage. i dont plan on importing until i am level 10 or 11 (i removed the experience cap) i am a halfling by the way.
