I have been reading the messages dealing with CLUAConsole via Search and have a question. Activating CLUAConsole in games does it affect the stability?

I noticed Extremist posted things that seem to hint at making the game buggy. I was mostly interested in making it able to activate both strongholds. I am not interested in whole-sale cheating - just makes the game boring. :(

Has anyone experienced lock ups after using CLUAConsole in thier games? (was it immediate or creep up later)

And last question.. What are some of the basic commands commonly used. (Ctrl-Q for monster stats?)

Thanks for sharing any information, I'm just kinda curious. :hmm:

The console is there for game testing used internally by BioWare, so it's not something that would crash your game if you used it. (Unless you do something stupid, of course...)

You can find all the info at SP, of course: http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/cheats.htm

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Mister, you issued in the Console something that messed your game.

The Console is powerful testing/debugging game addition and shouldn't be used for anything else besides it. Other "fancy" things you can get through ShadowCheater. But remember, for game malfunctions after ShadowCheater, there is no money back guarantee! :p

If you CLUA Console in lots of stuff on a wand for example, I tried it to see what would happen, i.e. ("wand04",99999) it makes the item but my game went ever so ever so slowly and kept crashing out whenever I went into battle.

I have never had problems with the CLUA console or ShadowKeeper.

Neither have I. Just don't fool around too much, and everything should be fine.
