Chickavalier Tue, 26th Apr '05, 1:33pm Might be bit Spoiler, but:
1)Where do I use Eye of the Elder orb/blood of Master brain(both underdark thing)
2)Where do I get wave blade(I've got the shaft)
3)Does Crom Freyr(spelt wrong)kill Giants too?

Shrikant Tue, 26th Apr '05, 2:11pm The Matron Mother asks you to get the blood of one of the more powerful members of underdark residents for her demon summoning ritual. Any one of blood from the Elder Brain, the blood of the Koa-Toa Prince, or the Eye of an Elder Orb will do.
Once you offer any of these to the Matron Mother she is happy. You can throw away the rest.
Planar Prison. Haer'Dalis quest. If you dont know how to go about it, it starts in the basement of the Five Falgron's Inn in the Bridge District.
Nope. However you can find a hammer in the golem room of the D'Arnise Keep which does additional damage to Giants.
Chickavalier Tue, 26th Apr '05, 3:22pm No, I said I've got the shaft, not blade. shaft is the one from haer'dalis.
Sticker Tue, 26th Apr '05, 3:27pm 2) Somewhere in the underdark or the Shaugain(sp?) quest, I think.
Edit: Yep the Sahuagin Prince has it, you'll have to kill him or maybe pickpocket.
Chickavalier Tue, 26th Apr '05, 3:35pm I have to pickpocket him because i helped him
Mihai SuperStar Tue, 26th Apr '05, 3:38pm The blade you will get from that stupid Aran (the one with the ship ) if you choose to go with him.
Chickavalier Tue, 26th Apr '05, 3:39pm Aran linvail? how do i get the blade?
Sticker Tue, 26th Apr '05, 3:59pm Semon Havarian will give you the silver blade, which is part of the vorpal sword, but the Sahuagin Prince has the wave blade.
Mihai SuperStar Tue, 26th Apr '05, 4:00pm No , is my mistake. Sorry. The wave blade you will find in Sahuagin City after doing the king quest. And Sahuagin is not in Underdark is before you get in underdark. You can miss it.
Have more questions?
Chickavalier Wed, 27th Apr '05, 1:30pm What's the CLUA for sahigian city?(I mean MoveToArea)
Razfallow Thu, 28th Apr '05, 3:06pm CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("ar2300")
Misantrophe Thu, 28th Apr '05, 8:42pm @ sticker
can you pickpocket for the blade? when i played that city i killed everyone after completing the quests even though i was good aligned. i didnt know it was pickpocketable
Shrikant Fri, 29th Apr '05, 7:50am Yes. Both the king and the prince can be pickpocketed. This way you can leave the Shaguin to their own devices while you hurry through to the Underdark.
Sticker Fri, 29th Apr '05, 9:54am I think the're all evil so you don't have to worry about killing them all if you are good. ;)
Silverstar Fri, 29th Apr '05, 4:33pm BUT after they did not kill you in the first place? They could just let your party in the waves to drown and be food for fish. They DID save your life even it was because they needed a favour, any good aligned character must think twice before senselessly butchering them all.
But, I am thinking as a Neutral Good character, a Chaotic Good one can think rather..wildly to save the least.
And yeah, I helped the prince and then Nalia took the thing from his pocket cleverly.
Shrikant Fri, 29th Apr '05, 10:06pm Helping the prince is a losing cause. Killing the prince nets you more XP, better items and is an easier fight. When I decide its time to kill the King too, I always charm him and put him in harms way. He has a whole load of HP.
Silverstar Sun, 1st May '05, 12:44pm Umm, I had an easy time killing the foolish, zealous, selfish 'king'. When prince came, I pickpocketed the halberd part plus they gave me good treasure too. So what did I lose?
Shrikant Sun, 1st May '05, 7:32pm Bracers of Crushing +4. The only item made for monks in the whole game. Its a quest reward item and cant be found on the king otherwise (either by pickpocketing or on his dead body). Others can sell it.
Also you get roughly 50% more XP if you side with the king.
You can always get always kill the king later :shake:

BUT. They delight in slaughtering and eating innocents who live along the coasts. They are completly evil. And with the Prince taking over, their decline may end and they will grow stong again. As a Lawful Good character I feel it is my duty to end thier evil reign of terrors. I also wiped out all the Drow before leaving the Underdark for the same reason.
Chickavalier Mon, 2nd May '05, 3:35pm yes.... detect evil and they're all EVIL
Misantrophe Mon, 2nd May '05, 8:13pm @ chas
same here. I kill every drow whenever I play good-aligned. people say it is difficult to take on the whole city but there aren't that many drows and xp is worth the trouble
Marcus_Giden Tue, 3rd May '05, 11:06am However, one should really ask oneself if it is THAT good to slay all the drows. Wouldn't that be like, chaotic good? I think it is a bit too extreme for a character with the alignment Lawful or Neutral good.
Not much roleplay, more like XP-hunting, but that's my opinion.
Chickavalier Tue, 3rd May '05, 12:31pm Yes.....I don't think it's RP but I kill every single drow
