I was wondering whether to download TeamBG's new mod. Anyone rate it?

For TeamBG to make such an expensive addition to BGII, and then are generous enough to allow fans to download it free, I think it'd be a shame not too. Even if you don't use it, have it anyway, can't hurt. Just get the patch for the bug fixes, and chck the readme...it's not compatible with ToB or Baldurdash's bugfix patches for example.

I am very very sorry to day this, but if you are a fan of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and you do not play The Darkest Day expansion, you=failed. Also there are people working on a project to incorporate Dritz into the game (meaning him actually joining the party with a quest or 2) which will be TDD compatible.

By not playing expansions like TDD (bugs are being fixed) you are simply missing out on a lot of the Baldur's Gate experience and adventures. Playing it is not ruining the game, on the contrary, it's making it more interesting and giving it a lot more depth.

On a final note, a lot of people repeat this over and over, "TDD is buggy"... BULSHIT. It's not perfect, but it is very playable and the bugs don't afect the overall gameplay, and the ones that exist are constantly being fixed.
