I am currently engaged in a multiplayer game with 5 of my own characters and one NPC. In order to pull this off I could not bring Jaheira with me out of Irenicus prison in chapter One, but now in chapter two, after running out of quests to do, I thought I'd do her character specific quests. Only problem is, she is nowhere to be found. She was kind of miffed at me in the prison when I suggested separate paths out, and said I would not enjoy it if our paths crossed again. So question.. Is she lost to me for good?

Maybe... check outside the Harper's Base in the Docks. That's where she will be IF she can still join.

I know if you say certain things to her in Chapter One, Jaheira disappears forever. I'm not sure what you did exactly, but there is a chance that she is gone for good.

I doubt that I said anything offensive, however, her answer to me implies that she is as good as gone..

You have to be careful, I can't remember which is which

But one makes Jaheira from BG1 and one makes her from BG2

So I think that's why you miss out the A. Because her BG2 dialogue is Jaheir instead of Jaheira.
