Has anyone else noticed this? Once my thief started wearing the speed boots, his ability to successfully backstab plummeted. It is though he iniates the attack and (usually) steps out of the shadows before he completes the backstab. If I remove the boots and try, he hits like a maniac. As a workaround, I've taken to removing the boots, striking, re-wearing the boots and scooting out to re-hide. Any other suggestions?
