anyone manage to do anything to belmin gergas (the elf hater near the north fountain in the promanade) other make him frustrated or angry? he ignores you if you're not elven, but if you are he goes off on you for elves killing his family and then swears vengeance. but what can you do other than walk away or kill him?

Maybe it´s just a chance encounter to spice up waukeens promenade?!

I had Viconia talk to him and he instantly attacked :) I don't know what to do though, since the guard turns on you.

and to top it all off, the guard standing nearby decides to get involved so you have to be extra careful about killing him or the guard will come after you. oh well, maybe it is one of those nothing encounters like the woman trying to con you of out money to help "your" daughter in the temple district.

Cast polymorph other on him.
