My game seems to randomly crash every so often, and there are lots of other small bugs in it, like the areas of Athkatla being in the wrong place on the area map. ARe these common bugs? Btw, I have the patch, and have not mucked around with my game with shadow keeper

Honestly, that does not sound right. You may want to try reinstalling the game. My games have been running fine (except the occasional lock-up ;)). Other than lock-ups here and there, I have had little problems.
