Hi, though I’ve being around here for a while, I’m new as member of this forum, and I like it a lot this place. Hope to be around. I have two questions, that you might answer me. I just got BGII: Shadow of Ann, and still getting use to some of the changes.

This is the first time that I play with a dual class character of my own; I’m playing with a kensai dual to mage. I don’t understand how it works the hp system when level him up, is always cero hp; before that, and in BGI, I knew how much hp per level, and it was not 1, but much more, is something wrong? Also, with other characters I have, aerie, she on level 11, and gaining just 1 hp each level. Is this right, or I just have to roll more the dices until I have a higher hp?

Other question. How do I defeat Firkraag?? I have my paladin, minsc, nalia, aerie, jaheira and my kensei (that for now is still mage of 8th level, and fighter of 9th level) this is the first time I can’t defeat an enemy, and is frustrating. I don’t even see the messages, mannedoc did 2 points damage.

Something else, I apologies for my bad English, is not my mother language.

Thank you in advance for your attention.

Wlecome to SP, my firend. Your english is absolutely understandable :)

now. After level 10 (9 for fighters) you don't get much HP. No dice and con bonus is involved anymore. A mage gets only 1 hp which is what you are experiencing with Aerie. I don't know why you don't get any HP with your maincharacter.

Killing Firkraag. That is not my field at all. I can't even spell his name yet. But click on this link and get inspiration before someone else answers your thread. The link helps with ideas on killing Firkraag.

You can use the search engine to look in Sorcerer's Place's archives. It is in the top right corner. Here is a direct link http://www.sorcerers.net/cgi-bin/search.cgi?action=intro&default=2

Your Kensai/Mage is not getting any Hit Points at the moment because his Mage class hasn't caught up to his Kensai class yet. To put it another way, your character has already recieved his Hit Points for Levels 1-9 when he was a Kensai before dual classing to a Mage. So, you won't recieve any more Hit Points until your Mage class reaches level 10 at which point you'll get 1 Hit Point per level.
