Does the Monk have a stronghold? Although I have not played as a monk I am just wondering if there is a monk stronghold as I haven't yet heard of one.

Not really. He gets to have the fighter stronghold.

Thats cool I guess. The second time around I played the game as a fighter and having my own fiefdom was cool. It would have been neat though to have a monastery or something lol.

It would also be cool if the Barbarian got a home in the mountains (I don't know what) but it would be good anyway. I think the sorcerer's stronghold suits him already though.

Cheers, Void.

I guess the Barbarian could be leader of a tribe like the Druid is the leader of a grove. If you read any of R.A. Salvatore's works, they coulda made the barbarian able to be Wulfgar's right hand man lol. Something like that would have been neat.

yea that would be cool, have wulfgar go save cattie-brie or something, and if you were a monk, you would have to go visit Danica (cleric quintet) in a monestary.

BTW, how do you get those wicked gloves fro monks that add like 12 dmg or something if delt with fists?

The only way to get the gauntlets is to have the king give them to you; they are not on his body or in his treasury. You can of course kill him after he gives them to you though...

so the only way to get them is to si de with the king and kill the prince? if i side with the prince, does he give me any useful items that i cant get by pickpocketing him?

and one more question, are there any other better gloves that my monk can use?

i ask too many questions...

Serving the prince is more cheap IMHO.

Kill him you get a part of a unique halberd.

More better gloves? Maybe Gauntlets of Dexterity, Gauntlets of Ogre Power...
