heee heee!

Clock of reflections, ring of free action,
illthra (the sword) with immunity to charm,
boots of speed.

Give it to you're best fighter, and let him roam.
Keep you're party at a distance for paniced enemies. Heee Heee, he went completely breserk :)

now go get some mind flayers and beholders, see the one of the funest parts in the game.

I assume its an already known tip, but i hope it is helpfull for some.

I think the sword's name is Ilbratha, but not sure :hmm:

Mirror image once per day was really crap for me. The sword itself is not very good, and to use one of two valuable weapon slots for the possibility of Mirror image only isn't enough for me.

Of course, it is possible to cheat: use the mirror image, put the weapon into the Bag of Holding and then - voila - you could use the ability again. Still, isn't worth it, in my opinion.

Adjatha the drinker. Arbane sword, clock of mirroring and ring of free action.
boots of speed if you REALLY want to hunt 'em down.

the exact suit :)

Welp, this tip is best used if you have those on you.
for me its the first attempt in the game, so i save most of the handy things.

it was really fun to go at the beholder's lair.
i just let my char loose and he got back with lots of exp.

For avoiding Int Drain, the basics would be a very good AC and a high Int. If you have a Mage multi-class in your party, you might try having a cleric cast Chaotic Commands on them, then have the Mage-type cast Mislead, leave the decoy back with the party and move the Mislead character into the room with the Squid-heads. If they are a Mage/Thief or Fighter/Mage/Thief, they'll even get backstabs out of the deal.

Yeah , Chaotic Command = immunity to psionics.

Don't forget to summon an Invisible Stalker, Illithids can't do much against them (is it cheesy?). Umber Hulks can, however...
