View Full Version : Where is the man in red??(graveyard quest) PizzaFiend Sat, 14th Oct '00, 11:59pm Got the scrap of red cloth from the graveyard kidnapper. Where is the man in red? Got it a while ago, so im kinda fuzzy on the details..... homesick-alien Sun, 15th Oct '00, 12:05am towards the south area of the bridge district staring out to sea [This message has been edited by homesick-alien (edited October 15, 2000).] raptorrip Fri, 2nd Feb '01, 8:56pm Got any more details cause I cant find him Sylvus Moonbow Fri, 2nd Feb '01, 9:06pm There are wooden stairs that lead down to the docks where you can find a few pirates and two ogres who fight each other by the water. Before you head down these wooden stairs the very man you seek can be found to the left side wearing a red robe. You must arrive at night to find him. Syl... Zorac Fri, 2nd Feb '01, 9:42pm That's not how I remember it Sylvus. It's behind a couple of those houses to the right (south in bridge area). And you don't have to go there at night. Taluntain Sat, 3rd Feb '01, 12:11am Yup, I went there in broad daylight and he was there. Took me an hour to find him though. Heh. But once you spot him, he's unmistakable. Someone at Bioware really loves red. :p raptorrip Sat, 3rd Feb '01, 6:41am I still aint found the mofo cirrostratus Sat, 3rd Feb '01, 10:29am He is between the two most southern houses, facing the sea. One of the houses has a closed door. After several hours, I noticed that he isn`t there every day, so do your other quests and return there sometimes. Ragusa Sat, 3rd Feb '01, 11:44am You can find the houses easily when you send out you thief or cleric searching for traps. In the neighbour house there are two trapped doors with two funny little quests behind. Just take care that you have a roughestone in your luggage when you enter, you´ll need it :D raptorrip Tue, 6th Feb '01, 12:21am Man that guy in there kicks my ass Ragusa Tue, 6th Feb '01, 10:40am Yep. There are TWO doors with TWO quests :) Have you tried the door to the waterside too? Good fun :D And don´t forget the roughestone... raptorrip Tue, 6th Feb '01, 7:14pm I dont think my guys are on the right level for this guy, he has killed me everytime. Ragusa Tue, 6th Feb '01, 8:45pm Fighting the liches and the twisted-rune are probably some of the hardest fights in BG-II :D raptorrip Wed, 7th Feb '01, 12:43am Got any strategies for a newbie still on Chapter 2?? Silroth Wed, 7th Feb '01, 10:00am Leave'em for later! Ragusa Wed, 7th Feb '01, 1:55pm Yep, really good Idea - depends on how many quests you´d like to do in chap-2, but after going through the underdark you´ll be far better equippped for them. I found twisted rune accidentally while playing a thief and looting the bridge area :D I came to that door, disarmed the trap (ignoring the text on the screen), entered and found me in this room with no way out but to kill the nasties in there. I was a level 10 lvl-6 fighter/ lvl-10 thief then and my party simply greyed out in a minute :D the GRINCH Sat, 24th Feb '01, 11:59pm whats a roughestone? Cerryl Sun, 25th Feb '01, 5:42am They mean a Roguestone...it's that funky rainbow coloured stone. Ragusa Sun, 25th Feb '01, 12:30pm :D Hoo häs äver carret forr ortografy, hehe? :D Cerryl Sun, 25th Feb '01, 1:33pm Ragusa............WTF????? Going back to the origional topic, I noticed that the man in red won't appear unless you've talked to the gravekeeper. So if you've been looking for him and still haven't found him I suggest you talk the th grave keeper...he's the guy in the top right corner of the Graveyard District (looks like a begger) Ragusa Sun, 25th Feb '01, 6:12pm ;) ALAAF, ALAAF, ALAAF!!! ;) Silroth Mon, 26th Feb '01, 4:22pm Helau und Alaaf to you :) :) :) Ragusa Mon, 26th Feb '01, 9:57pm Only Alaaf, Silroth! Helau´s for these unbearable Dusseldorf scump only (all right and for some mid-rhine freaks too) :D Be aware that Colognians would consider it a major insult, and dropping that in a pub in Cologne could result in you getting beat up ;) Ragusa Tue, 27th Feb '01, 10:19am Ouch, beaten up, Silroth ;) ;) ALAAF, ALAAF, ALAAF!!! ;) Silroth Tue, 27th Feb '01, 11:19am I know Duesseldorf, my sister lives there, but where the hell is Cologne??? :D :D :D Recoil Suave Tue, 27th Feb '01, 5:37pm For clarification: Cologne=Köln, and watch what you call us Rhinelanders. Silroth Tue, 27th Feb '01, 6:17pm I know my way around the Düsseldorf area. But still nothing of Cologne. Just some barbarian area to the south. :p :p :p biggreenpriest Tue, 27th Feb '01, 7:36pm I still haven't found the blasted guy in red. bgp Ragusa Tue, 27th Feb '01, 9:18pm As for uncivilised: Cologne was founded in 56 AD and has existed before. It developed urban prosperity at a time when bavarians were just getting familiar with the thought to make clothes out of furs - a tradition they still hold up :p And indeed, somehow they learned to brew some kind of beer :p - they are pretty inventive :D Dusseldorf has never been much more than a fisher village in he shadow of colognes cathedral  . They have electric light now, don´t they? the GRINCH Tue, 27th Feb '01, 10:04pm ok, this is a 'wheres the guy in red?' forum. so take that jibberish talk outside |
