Great website I seemed to have stumbled across here.

I'm in Illithid City, I've used the machine to create collars and searched all across the right hand side of the map but for some reason i cannot enter or see into the room left of the gladiatorial arena. I can tell there's a room there but there's no door that I can see or any other means of entering,
anyone care to give any tips?

If I remember correctly, you have to use one of the collars to dominate one of the mind flayers. Only they can open the doors to the other chambers in the city. This should help - but I may be wrong about where exactly you are in the Illithid city. Can anyone confirm this?

i cannot enter or see into the room left of the gladiatorial arena. If my memory doesn't play tricks on me, then you can't reach the rooms west (=left) of the arena through the arena. I guess you mean the door, through wich the other gladiators came. Or is there a door too, to the place on top of the arena, where the mindflyers watch ? Anyway, iirc, to the eastern rooms: The way there is through the northern rooms, than to the west and then south. That's the way to those rooms, I guess.

Edit: West ? East ? I am confused.

If there isn't any Illithids to put the collar on simply go to the most eastern room and wait because a new one will be spawned each minute.

Played it through before, these things slip by you sometimes.

You can also turn slayer and open the door that way with your demonic strength, if thats your style
