Did anyone seriously ever consider removing him from your party?
Ive thought about eveyone but him, but never once him.

Same here. Feels like I'm kicking a puppy if I try to.
Besides, I think he'd be lost without my, uh, intellectual guidance.
Poor sod'd get himself killed rather quickly if I wasn't around to take care of him. ;)

I considered dunping him for Keldorn just because of everyone's posts about how great Casomyr is. Eventually I decided not to. Perhaps that was a mistake, but I'm satisfied with Minsc's preformance with the Warblade enough to let it slide. I'll have to wait till much later to see how Casomyr preforms I suppose.

I dropped him first time through (takes it well) and now on my second time through he has taken it well also.

He is fine and quite fun with the talking two handed sword but is NOTHING compared o Keldon with the Holy Avenger.

Just not into bald men realy I guess. :)

I know! I went through the same thing! I have never even thought of dropping Minsc! Only when I create my whole party I do . . .

Blasphemy! Minsc and Boo are one of the best parts of the game! He is by far the best comic relief there is...Not to mention the fact is is awesome with Gauntlets of Dexterity and dual wielding! None of the other characters I've had in my party have come close to him...

I was happy as hell to see him in that cell at the beginning of the game!

I'll see your Blasphemy and raise you a "Bah!"

I have dumped Minsc 5 times now... You can't go Solo with a party, it just doesn't work that way. Each time, it makes me feel wierd, cuz the rest of the game is akward. Since you can't get him back after you dump him in Iren's dungeon, I once resorted to conscripting Edwin just for the comic-relief.(Tedious monkey-work). Thus ruining my solo-parade at 5.

He can be a TANK if need be, but he'd just get in the way of my Solo-sorcerer, Solo-mage/thief, etc... With the Cloak of Non-Detection and the Staff of the Magi, I just wander around the Beholder Dungeon, or anywhere for that matter, fighting a guerrilla war: Summon, run, let my elementals fight them, summon some more, etc... Minsc would have just got himself hurt, whereas I take no damage whatsoever. I think I'll have a multi- mage-cleric next time, so I can summon teddy bears, haste them myself, turn invis, and let them rampage. Rest and repeat as desired!

Cowardly, isn't it?

What do you mean you can't get him back? When I dumped him in the first dungeon I afterwards saw him hanging out at Copper Coronet. I didn't try to talk to him though.

The best thing is to keep Minsc and Keldorn.

Together, they are like a tsunami.

I also never considered to drop minsc - has almost as much family as Imoen is, sure, he needs support too, Boo simply doesn`t offer enough guidance for him. And Minscs talk is always good fun. So Imoen and Minsc are my constant party members.

For the rest: Anomen turns to be bearable as soon as he gets his SIR, I like Viccy for romance and sheīs a damn good cleric too, Keldorn is a fine fighter and the rest varies. However, Minsc is a must for I think that the game lives with the char interaction - thatīs why I donīt like to play it solo.

I only took Minsc in my 1st game, then I chose a all PC party, then 2 solo games.

Minsc is a nice character, I liked to hear him, did you try to pick up Boo from Minsc equipment ??... too fun, hehe :D.

Minsc is stronger than Keldorn or Anomen. Minsc has 16 dex that gives him -2 ac bonus.

Anomen and Keldorn have about 10 dex that gives no bonuses.

Minsc is the best melee NPC.

In my experience, Korgan has made a better tank than Minsc. He had a better AC, despite Minsc's 1 more point of Dexterity, because he was fighting two-handed and couldn't use a shield. He had more hitpoints due to his 19 constitution as opposed to Minsc's 16. He is a Grand Master in axes, which more than made up for the fact that the best weapon he can wield is +3. He isn't QUITE as strong, but close enough that again the Grand Mastery more than made up for it. They both can go ape#@$! bezerker style, but the little dwarf is just so much better at it.

Yup, I agree with Amon-Ra. Whenever I used Minsc' berserk ability he just ended up attacking my party :(. I do that Minsc is a must though for any good party, as Korgan is for an evil party.
