It's the first time I will play as a Full time Mage, and when I think about it it's the first time I play a solo class, I was ALWAYS playing 1/2 elfs multiclass, one of my fav was ranger/cleric... anyway back to my question... will he Have future? I want a "dark" character will he ins't evil he "like" death...

looks good to me, though would max wisdom. I do the same thing with high dex. Nothing like an agile mage, i always say.

No I dont ;)

Since the intelligence has to be high anyway, and the physical attributes low, I always go for the social traits with my pure mages. Int, Wis and Cha as close to the max as possible. Dex isn't really needed, unless you're thinking about the savingthrows. A good Con is good though.

Well, if you like ranger/clerics, try this:

Dual stalker ast level 9 to cleric. You'll get decent warrior, about level 20 in cleric(Soa), backstab(with Crom Fayer in offhand:). Also both druid and cleric spells. And if you bring ranger from Bg1, you could have wis of 21 and so on.

Drop the Cha to 10 and max out on Dex and Wis and up Con to 16.

You do NOT need Cha for a solo since the ring of human influence will be your first quest in the city at a guess anyway.

Should be optimal stats for a human. Otherwise of course it depends on race. I'd go elf and take the 20 dex, but thats just me. The con penalty doesn't matter since you're not going to take it above 16 for a mage anyway.

The low STR may be a problem, as you acquire BoH very late in the game. :( So no carrying heavy stuff for you, sir. :p But necro's are cool. :D And go for a human. They are cooler. :D

Low strength a problem? When Ribald sells a girdle of Hill Giant strength from the start????

How can that be a problem? Only one character to kit out, you have enough money almost from the off.

Number of items is always a solo problem, you just have to find somewhere suitable to stash stuff. I used the Copper Coronet containers since thats where you start off your quest for the money to free Immy.

Yeah, I don't think elves can be necros, it goes against their nature, I think.

The statistics look really good. :thumb: However, you must have at least 18 for dexterity.

Since you are planning to solo, you must keep in mind that every arrow, sword and spell is going to be sent right at you. If your AC is high, you will be slaughtered.
