I can't seem to get the Portraits to work. I made the folder name Portraits in the BGII directory and I'm pretty sure I have them the right size. I also put an L at the end of the name of the large portrait and S for the small. But When I select them in the game it just shows a question mark head. Am I doing something wrong? Help me!

First of all, they must be in BMP format.
Second of all, the name of the files can be no longer than seven characters.
Like XXXXXXXS or XXXXXXXL.
But it can be LESS than seven. For example:
DwarfL
Now it should work.
